![]() Beauport was originally built for the Canadian Coast Guard...... in Lauzone, Quebec as a buoy tender and sounding vessel. BEAUPORT was designed and constructed for light-duty ice breaking. Beauport spent her first 30 years operating year round in fresh water on the St. Lawrence Sea Way.
In 1998 Beauport was moved to Jacksonville Florida, where she underwent a 6 month mechanical refit of all engines and operating systems. In the spring of 2000 2 new John Deere 115 KW generators were installed as well as a back-up 150 KW Isuzu and massive 8 Ton hydraulic deck Crane. She is tremendously efficient burning only 30 gallons per hour at cruise for both engines and one gen-set. Many recent upgrades make this yacht a must see for the worldwide cruiser. There is no other vessel anywhere that has everything this ship has at remotely the same price. Where can you find a ship that is helicopter friendly, carries its own sport fisherman, plus a small boat for water skiing, running to the beach and more? The "BEAUPORT" is a fabulous boat for a family to explore the Oceans, to enjoy irreplaceable vacations and make memories that cannot be duplicated. Owner will consider selling either 1/4 or 1/2 of the yacht for cost effective cruising, or sell outright!
AcommodationsThere are 10 double Guest Staterooms plus the Master Stateroom, plus the separate en-suite Captain's Cabin, plus Crew's Quarters for 8 to 10 people. (One Crew Cabin is set up for women with its private head & shower. The males share a very large head with two heads and showers.)
